The Financial Advisor is responsible for the ongoing management of existing and new client relationships as well as the retention of clients. The advisor works in conjunction with other Financial Advisors and the Financial Planning Team to develop advice for clients. The Financial Advisor is a member of the firm's Investment Committee and reports to the Chief Investment Officer.
Duties and Responsibilities
Client relationship management, including providing ongoing advice through regular client meetings, contact, and communications.
Client service, including planning updates, portfolio changes, and reviews.
Client asset management, including coordination of complete financial planning & wealth management, including estate planning, tax strategies for assets under management, and portfolio management.
Rebalancing client investment accounts by model.
5+ years' experience in investment management and/or financial advisory services with a demonstrated ability to develop and manage plans and manage client relationships
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
CFP® is required, MBA or CFA a plus.
Series 65 will be required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, as well as Investment and Reporting software.
Financial planning/wealth management acumen, judgment, and experience.
Detail-oriented, accurate, organized, able to set priorities.
Strong analytical and financial skills, detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Possesses a passion for helping clients.
A team player, collaborative and able to work wonderfully with others.
Desire/ability to work successfully in a small and growing company environment.
